Even though we focus on parent/child bonding, music and movement exploration in this

handling skills are developed along with small motor development.
You don't need to be best friends with your play group partners, but it helps if you're
like-minded in your parenting styles, like other parents that know the benefits of a
structured and fun learning environment at this stage in your child's life. Looking for the
right parents is key to creating a compatible, happy group of toddlers. Scheduling (the tricky
part) Finding the best time is important for a successful play group. It's also best to avoid
the end of the day when toddlers are getting tired or hungry. Once you have chosen a
schedule, do your best to stick to it. If meeting schedules become flexible, confusion can
set in and the momentum may be lost. Repetition is key at this point to make sure your child
will be comfortable and ready for the structure of a class room.
