| Tues & Thurs from 9:30-12:00 Mission: This class is a fitness-based learning program that can help prevent childhood obesity. Their will be structured gym time, classroom time and play time. Your child will receive a well-rounded educational experience to help prepare them for school socially, mentally and physically. Structured gym time: Lessons will include bars, beams and tumbling on specialized preschool gymnastic equipment and exercise to music. The kids will have fun with props to develop fitness aspects such as hand-eye & foot-eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills and rhythmic patterns that help with reading readiness. Classroom time: Lessons will include activities, stories & drawing. Children practice counting, cooperating in groups and following simple directions. Playtime: They will get time to play on the inflatables and to socialize without instruction. Art - Creative expression, working with colors, shapes and textures. Language & Listening - Letters & Sounds, word recognition, reading readiness, learning with music. Science & Sensory - How things look, feel, work, smell and sound. Math - Counting, recognize numbers, learning phone numbers and address's. Fine Motor Skills - Working with puzzles, coloring, cutting, tracing, printing and writing alphabet.
